Topic-Time Review
Topic-Time <—- (Click here to Apply) is a small American Skype company with Japanese students. It appears that you need to be an American citizen to work here as they require a social security number. You do not need to know Japanese culture but it is a plus. Good typing skills are also a plus. They pay $12USD per 55 minute lesson. You choose your own schedule. The students choose the teachers. They have their own curriculum and specialize in “The Scarlett Method”. They provide training. They would like to find teachers that care about people and fostering excellent learning environments so they are very selective about who they hire.

It seems that they hire only the USA residents as they require a U.S. Social Security Number to work with them

How wonderful of you to include Topic-Time in your list of Online Schools!!
I have had many GREAT teachers coming from you. I wish that I could hire them all, but I cannot. Please do not take it personally if I do not hire you. Also, try to understand that I cannot be negotiable on what we pay. The reason that we have many students coming to us is because we offer a low low price. I know you deserve more. I have always said that I will never be a millionaire running this company, but I will have the satisfaction of being able to work from home and being a bridge for these eager students and knowledgeable teachers.
P.S. a common mistake applicants are making is not sending in a video, but rather an email. I hope this is clear on our application page.
