!!!! OUR EXPERIENCE! This is the worst school ever. I used to work with them through and agent for 2 years and everything was fine untill in April the agent didn't screw them over and me and some other teachers didn't get nor we will ever get our March and April salary. A person named Katherine finally spoke to the management to send the rest of the money (May,June, July) so I'm still waiting for that money. She said the money has been sent to their guy Victor in Canada (?!) so then he'll send to us 2 MONTHS AGO!! Then she started making stupid excuses such as: Victor is on his way to China and Victor is in quarantine (?!?!?). She's being very rude and for the last month she's just ignoring our messages in groups. They are very disorganized for the past year. All those bonuses you won't see at all, they hide some teachers' profiles all of a sudden so regular students can't see them at all! There are few teachers who are paid on time and have classes, I was one of them and they decided to stop it. Tomorrow don't think that won't happen to you.
REPORT THEM TO CHINESE AUTHORITIES, if you have problem like this!!
A friend of mine use to do very well with this company up until February/March 2020, when all the classes came to a stand still because of COVID-19. She would get maybe 1 or 2 classes a week, and then they just stopped. Then one morning she got a notification from another teacher that ML ran out of money and had shut down. She and other teachers have found another company to work for, and they seem a lot more stable, as she use to complain that ML were always late with their payments.
Hi
do you know of any of English teaching companies that does not require you to send over copies of important documents to them? i dont' feel sending over pictures of important documentation to strangers I met online.
This too! I mentioned this in an online group I am a member of and they thought it was ok for them to ask for sensitive info like DOB or even request social security numbers or a copy of your passport. Identity theft is real.
What idiots! I have never seen a company hire without giving these things. What do you do if they ask for your name? Make one up? You are totally living in a fantasy world!
Hi, I don't think any company expects you to post original copies of documents. Usually a pdf of a scan is all that is required.
Complete waste of time. I've taught over 1000 online classes for various companies and these guys by far are the most dishonest and dysfunctional bunch I've come across.I I've had three classes in three months with over 42 open teaching slots a week. The courseware is beyond terrible, outdated and very hard to expand upon and not interactive at all, just a page with some words and cheap looking pictures (often the characters from Family Guy!?) Oh, and support? Forget it. They don't have a support network, rather a WeChat group that no one ever replies to and is filled with hundreds of teachers complaining about things not working properly. Avoid at all costs.
Their website says to email your CV to hr@4000669696.com but when I did so, it bounced back.
Maybe try Microlanguage@4000669696.com
Good company but no hours are offered at all. There are people who haven't had any classes for 3 months and the average wait time is 3weeks for class. Good company, no hours. No hours, not suitable for PT or FT work.
