eTeacher Group <—- (Click here to Apply) is based in Israel and the students are either from there or other countries in the Middle East. Besides English, they teach French, Hebrew, Yiddish and Mandarin. They require a Bachelor’s degree TESL certificate and previous teaching experience. Students are assigned to you and you must communicate with their parents by email to schedule classes. Teachers have full control over their schedule. You can schedule, reschedule or cancel lessons anytime, without penalties. We know they pay a minimum of $10 USD per hour to start and you can earn $14 USD per hour for individual classes.

Hi . I currently work for this company . A new teacher gets 14 USD per hour 1to 1 class. You don’t get many classes no more than 5 or 6 hours per week

I currently work for this company. The requirements are BA, certificate and some experience. I have been working there for almost a year, and I can say that they do have a lot of students now. I have more than 30 students per week, and they offer more students regularly. Once the student is assigned to you, you communicate with the parent via WhatsApp or email, so you have full control over your schedule. You can schedule, reschedule or cancel the lesson anytime, without any penalties. The payrate is offered to you after the interview and demo lesson, and I think that the lowest is 10$ per hour. The lessons can be 30-45-60 minutes long and you are paid per hour, not per lesson (if the payrate is 10$, the 30-min lesson will be 5$). The kids are mostly from Israel, but there are also many students from other Middle Eastern countries, as well as Israeli and Arabic students that live in other European countries. The only disadvantage is that there are no bonuses, and the raise is very difficult to get, you get a chance for that once a year. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it is a pretty decent company to work for.

Be very careful of signing up to do a course with this company eTeacher Group formerly known as Rosen School.
I registered for a course in 2018 costing nearly £500, the course never took place due to insufficient number of students and since then the same course kept on been cancelled every year because of a lack of students. I finally had enough of the continuous cancellations and asked to be contacted so we could talk about this course ever happening and if not for a full refund to be given, which after nearly 6 years I think is only fair to ask for my money to be returned.
I have been given the run around all through 2023, they promise to call and never call only to say they called which is a total lie, do not trust this company at all, use someone else that is trustworthy!
I told them if they do not give me a refund I would be writing a review and that has had zero effect, so clearly they like stealing peoples money!
Looking at many reviews across other review sites, other students have been going through exactly the same issues I have been!
I do not like begging and after 6 years enough is enough!!
Go elsewhere and do not use these scammers!
