Blazaar (company has closed as of July 2018) is a new company from Barcelona with their own platform. They are looking not only for English teachers, but also German, French, Italian, Russian, Arabic and Spanish. The pay varies but it roughly starts at $12 USD per 45 minute class and there is no minimum amount of hours required. It looks like teachers can now set there own pay rate.

Hey all,
Even thou this company has closed, I just had to comment on my experience with them.
I was employed by them but never gave a class due to personal health issues & the crappy web page they had designed from scratch. It was run by a pig headed woman ( Im not surprised it went bankrupt ), who was impossible to reason with. The web page was awful, had to navigate, most of the features never worked, a horrible color scheme, plus a number of different issues. If students couldnt figure out how to sign up, obviously there wasnt any classes for the teachers to give.
Its a pity, because I know that they had some strong backers for the project & company.
So, another 1 bites the dust because of mis – management & just plain stupidity.
